Well, the skirt was originally a boy's long-sleeved, button-down dress shirt.

It took me a few weeks (especially for the pleating around the waist but with my mom's help it all worked out) but the end results were well worth it; don't you agree?

So last night while I was looking for something to wear, I found this top...dress...THING that my aunt bought for me. I tried it on, but it didn't look that good on me. As I was slipping off it landed on my hips and I liked the way it fit around my waist. I thought "hmm.....this would be cute as a skirt, but I think it should be shorter" so I took the bottom of the dress and brought it to meet the top and sewed it all together; see.....
